Namely, with the help of the state-of-the-art VR technology, all those interested will be able to visit the Serbian Pavilion live, and from October 1, when "EXPO 2020" opens, to follow the events taking place in our Pavilion in virtual reality and real time. They will feel as if they are really at the World's Fair in Dubai.

In addition to visiting the Pavilion, at this very place, all interested representatives of companies and businessmen will be able to get information on how to apply for participation in the Serbian business delegation, at this most important global event in history.

The showroom in “Galerija Belgrade” will be open every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The topic of the appearance of the Republic of Serbia at the World Exhibition in Dubai is "Serbia creates ideas - Inspired by the past, we create the future".

The impressive Pavilion of Serbia, with an area of 2000 m2, is located in the "Mobility" thematic part.

The Serbian pavilion is designed as a unique time capsule, with a sloping roof resembling Vinča edifices, thus connecting the legacy of the 7,000-year-old Vinča culture with digitally advanced, modern Serbia, which connection is the main theme of our presentation at the upcoming World Exhibition.

The pavilion will be fully digitalized and will provide the possibility of virtual travel, both through different realities and through different time epochs, forever erasing the division between the physical and digital world.

In this way, the virtual exhibition in the Pavilion of Serbia allows visitors to get to know our country, not only live at the pavilion in Dubai, but from anywhere on the planet.

Visitors become digital humans - avatars who can explore the endless possibilities of our virtual exhibition spaces, as well as communicate with other avatars in real time, and even arrange meetings.

The latest technology will recreate and introduce visitors to the 7,000-year-old revolutionary and innovative Vinča culture, as well as to Serbian greats who have indebted humanity such as Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, Milutin Milanković. At the same time, millions of visitors from all over the world will be able to explore the greatest treasures of our national museums, technological innovations and tourist offers during the 6 months of the Expo.

“Participation in the World Exhibitions has long gone beyond the framework of presenting the culture, history and identity of a country. The main goal of each and every country participating in the World Exhibition is to present innovations, technological and scientific successes, business opportunities and to connect with the business community of the Middle East, but also to the entire MEASA region and the world in general. By presenting our country at the World Exhibition, we want to open new opportunities for the development of Serbia through connecting with key actors of the world business community and to present our country as a stable investment destination," said Tatjana Matić, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the Commissioner General of Serbia at EXPO 2020, Dubai”.

Ana Ilić, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Serbia for Creative Industries and Tourism and Deputy Commissioner General of Serbia for "EXPO 2020 - Dubai", emphasized: "Through a comprehensive business, but also scientific, artistic and entertainment program and the participation of many business people and companies, creative people and innovators, institutions and startups from Serbia, we will present to the world business community: why Serbia is the first in Europe in terms of direct investments, why it is called the Silicon Valley of the Balkans, why it is a leader in eGovernment, a proud host of the European Center of Excellence for ICT solutions in agriculture and one of the countries with the best results in the fight against pandemics and immunization, as well as why some world media declared Belgrade one of the 5 most creative cities in the world“.

World Exhibition - "EXPO 2020 Dubai" will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, under the slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future"

This will be the first World Exhibition ever organized in the Arab world, in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA region), where the presence has been confirmed by over 190 countries.

"Galerija Belgrade" is already recognized as an attractive tourist destination and one of the favorite places of our fellow citizens and we believe that this is the place where visitors will be happy to come and visit the Serbian Pavilion in Dubai during the Expo and keep abreast of the world's greatest innovations presented there.
