In just three months of appearance at the World Expo 2020 Dubai, Serbia has achieved impressive results and welcomed more than half a million visitors from all over the world and presented its economic, technological, innovation, investment and tourist potentials in the best way possible.
Within the business program implemented by the Government of Serbia, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian Development Agency, during the first four theme weeks in Dubai, more than 500 business persons from Serbia have presented themselves, making more than 3,000 business contacts with potential partners from abroad and more than 10 contracts have been finalized with companies from the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, India, the United States...
As we are about to have five more business delegations and hold three Investment Conferences, more than 1,000 businessmen from Serbia are expected to participate in the Expo. In addition to the participation of more than a hundred investors from around the world, the Investment Conferences have so far resulted in a double-digit number of letters of intent, and talks have been launched with potential investors.
"All the results of Serbia's appearance at the World Exhibition so far have already exceeded our expectations. Unofficially, we are one of the most visited pavilions at the Expo, side by side with the largest countries, and we end the year with more than 500,000 visitors. We are especially proud of the fact that Serbia is recognized as a leader in innovations and creative industries and that due to the revolutionary project - metahuman of a prehistoric man, who amazed the world, we have become the talk of relevant world media", said Ana Ilić, senior advisor to Serbia’s Prime Minister for Creative Industries and Tourism and Deputy Commissioner General of Serbia for EXPO 2020 Dubai and added:
"I am proud that we have managed to break the myth that a "small" country like Serbia cannot keep up with large countries. Indeed, we now have something to be proud of! And the National Day of the Republic of Serbia, February 15, which will be the crown of everything we present in Dubai, is yet to come."
WORLD INNOVATION FROM SERBIA - MEET A MAN FROM PREHISTORY
Serbian scientists and innovators at Expo 2020 Dubai, for the first time showed the world a completely revolutionary project, which is the result of cooperation between our scientist Sofia Stefanović and a world class domestic gaming company. With the help of the top Metahuman technology from Serbia, we have "revived" in the virtual world a man who lived in Lepenski vir 10,000 years ago, and with whom we can now interact. If we laugh at him - he will respond with his ancient smile, which heralds a new age for the study of the human species.
WORLD MEDIA ABOUT SERBIA
In addition to a large number of domestic media, many foreign media have written and reported on the appearance of our country and innovations from Serbia: CNN Arabia, Euronews, Sky news, The National, The Gulf News, China Media Group TV, Abu Dhabi and Dubai TV, British Herald, Time Out and many others… Thanks to innovations, successes in creative industries and science, Serbia has thus become the talk of the world media.

The richest program will be organized for the National Day of Serbia, which we will celebrate with the whole world in the most monumental building at the Expo, the famous Al Wasl Plaza.
