The first hybrid event in the metaverse at the Serbian pavilion in Dubai
- topics are NFT, blockchain, virtual reality, metaverse, and NFT exhibition “New realm“
On Friday, February 18, at 10:30 an event called METAMORPH will be held in the Serbian pavilion at Dubai World Expo 2020. It will be the first hybrid event of its kind dedicated to rising new technologies - NFT, blockchain, and virtual reality. This event is open to all visitors at the Serbian pavilion at Dubai World Expo 2020, and for those unable to attend it will be broadcasted live on the event’s web page.
The event consists of three panels, the opening of a sales NFT exhibition and a presentation of artists whose works are featured in a dedicated NFT exhibition.. At this all-day event the team from Serbia will host the world’s most renowned experts, investors, collectors, creators, and various NFT artists, who will be presenting the audience a look into the future possibilities that NFT, crypto and virtual reality bring. These three concepts together already configure the essence of the metaverse.
“The technologies of which we speak - the blockchain and cryptocurrencies - have the potential to change the world on a much grander scale than what the internet has done at the beginning of the 21st century, and the NFT technology (non-fungible tokens) will lay the foundation for connecting the reality we know with the digital world. That is the key link for the creation of the metaverse which will and is already becoming, an extension of our analog world,“ Vitomir Jevremovic states, the founder and CEO of ALL.ART protocol and one of the biggest NFT marketplaces in the world, called SolSea.
Participants from all over the world will gather at the same time in the metaverse, a virtual space that was tailor-made for this occasion by the team from the ALL.ART protocol.
“The Metamorph event is the first of its kind, as it will be simultaneously held in the Serbian pavilion at Dubai World Expo 2020, and in the metaverse, the virtual space that we are talking about, in which the participants of the panels will gather and interact with each other through their respective VR avatars,” adds Vitomir Jevremovic.
The event is organized by ALL.ART, SolSea - the NFT marketplace, and VR-All-Art, with support from the national platform Serbia Creates.
