SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT PROMOTION FORUM - A step towards fostering the economic growth and advancing the post-crisis recovery

UNDP and the Government of the Republic of Serbia will host the “Sustainable Investment Promotion Forum (SIP Forum)” in the Serbian Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai on 21st March 2022 (10 am - 6 pm Gulf Standard Time). The event is offering the platform for the discussion around the challenges in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a driving force for ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all people. Moreover, it is the unique opportunity to learn more about sustainable investments in Serbia and their alignment with the principles and practices of economic, social and environmental sustainability.

SIP Forum is a chance to exchange ideas, practices, expertise and experience with the stakeholders from the private and public sector, as well as decision makers from Serbia, Asian and EU countries, striving to create new partnerships between policy makers, companies and potential investors.. The event will give an overview of the current investment climate and sustainable investment opportunities in the Republic of Serbia, with successful stories on investments in renewable resources, lessons learned and pathways to advance sustainable investments.

The investment conference of the Development Agency of Serbia “INVEST IN SERBIAN RENEWABLES” will be the part of the event, starting from the 1:30 pm. The 5th Serbia Investment Conference will focus on the renewable energy projects and investment potential and opportunities in this particular sector in Serbia.
