CELEBRATING SERBIA NATIONAL DAY – FEBRUARY 15

The crown of all activities of Serbia at Expo 2020 will be the celebration of the National Day of our country, which will be held on February 15.

The all-day program of the celebration of the National Day will be held at several venues within Expo 2020, and it will be accompanied by numerous musical festivities, performances and gatherings aimed at presenting the cultural wealth of our country. Serbia achieved impressive results at World Expo 2020 Dubai and welcomed more than 700 000 visitors from all over the world and presented its economic, technological, innovation, investment and tourist potentials in the best way possible.

SERBIA NATIONAL DAY AT EXPO 2020 DUBAI

The program starts at 10.00 in the magnificent Al Wasl Hall, with the raising of the Serbian flag and speeches to be delivered by our state officials, followed by the performance of the National Ensemble "Kolo" which will present various dances from all over our country.

It will be followed by a special performance of the Stefan Milenkovich's String Virtuoso Team of Serbia, under the artistic direction of Stefan Milenković, Serbia’a multi award-winning violin soloist, music teacher, humanitarian and creative ambassador of the national platform Serbia Creates.

After magnificent performances in Al Wasl, the program moves to the dazzling Pavilion of Serbia, where guests will be enchanted by the sounds of the accordion virtuously played by Petar Marić, eight-time world champion in electric accordion and dynamic dances of the Ensemble “Kolo”, in the glamorous Pavilion Garden. Specially tailored concert of film music by Jelena Gavrilović and Aleksandra Marković will be held inside the Pavilion, followed by the performance of Serbian DJ Emina.

In the scope of Serbia Business program, during the same day, Serbia Country Business Briefing (SCBB) will be organized between 2.00 PM and 3.30 PM at Business Connect Center.
